Whether you are studying for a captain’s license or just want to test your boating knowledge, there is a web site for that. Using a database of over 10,000 USCG exam questions, you can test yourself on subjects such as: AB Seaman, Nav lights, Rules of the Road, Navigation, Safety, Deck General, and Navigation Problems. Rules of the Road
For anyone wishing to bone up on the navigation rules of the road, there is a excellent presentation on YouTube by the Maryland School of Sailing and seamanship. They explain all the rules in detail. Just go to YouTube and search for ‘Collision Avoidance Nav Rules’.
